After all, the cold would have nothing to do with why she feels the frisson of hope and anticipation as she slides into the creamy silk negligee that covers her from shoulder to knee, with small cap sleeves to keep her comfortable. She clears her throat to give Steve the all clear to turn around as she digs through her things in order to find her curlers, knowing that it will take her mind off everything in order to keep her hands busy.
