Ever since she'd woken up in the future, Peggy's been feeling completely out of place. Things have leapfrogged so suddenly and wildly that she finds herself struck by how much of a stranger she is to all of it. The people of SHIELD have been working very hard to get her settled and accustomed to things, giving her multiple handlers to cope with the future, but what she's discovered is that none of it really helps. There's a frustration of losing everything so dear to her (like Steve) in the course of gaining a serum.
It's why she spends so much time down at the boxing ring of this little facility she's been "welcome" to. She tries to shake off the handlers, tries not to think about this agency founded so many years ago, and tries not to think about the future and all that she'd missed out on in the process. Unfortunately, all that frustration and anger builds and builds.
Which is why Peggy's next swing at the punching bag takes it off its hook, sending it skittering across the floor. Embarrassed and not wanting to make a scene, she glances over her shoulder quickly to check if anyone saw. Hopefully not, as she now works to hang it back up, taping her hands back up again and trying to disguise her misery with something more like determination.
